The sessions take place in a new purpose built classroom, with ample play facilities, toilet and cloakroom, a secure garden and covered deck area and access to the newly refurbished Jubilee Hut with kitchen and large hall for wet play. We now also have a new cover over our outside area allowing for outside play activities come rain come shine.
PK Pre-school provides a fully dedicated and experienced staff, we are equipped to offer places to children with special needs, and there is grant funding for 3 & 4 year olds.
PK Nursery is managed by a committee of parents and friends and has adopted the constitution of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA). The committee is responsible for appointing the play leader, employing staff, fund raising and generally administering the business of the group.
We can now offer a day-care facility (Sept 2007).
In the Ofsted inspection May 2010 PK was judged to be Outstanding
